- What materials are your charms and pendants made of?
- Our charms are typically made from an alloy metal, or brass, real gold plated with 14k or 18k real gold. We may also carry some 304 stainless steel charms which may also be plated with 14k-18k gold.
- Are your charms and pendants hypoallergenic?
- Stainless steel is generally considered hypoallergenic. While we source products that are nickel-free, brass and other alloy metals are not considered hypoallergenic. If you're concerned with potential allergenic reactions, we recommend that if you have sensitivities, to consult with your doctor or dermatologist, as we are not responsible or liable for any skin reactions.
- How do I care for my gold-plated jewelry?
- Gold-plated jewelry requires special care to maintain its luster and prevent the gold layer from wearing off prematurely. Here are some tips:
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or cleaning with harsh chemicals like chlorine, bleach, or ammonia. Even some soaps and shampoos can contain ingredients that can damage gold plating.
- Gentle cleaning: When cleaning your jewelry, use a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Gently wipe the piece and dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Store properly: When not wearing your jewelry, store it in a soft pouch or jewelry box to protect it from scratches and exposure to air, which can cause tarnishing.
- Avoid friction: Try to avoid excessive rubbing or friction against other surfaces, as this can wear away the gold plating.
- Will the gold plating fade or tarnish over time?
- Plated jewelry does have the potential to expose the underlying metal underneath over time. If the above steps are taken, you can ensure the longevity of your pieces. However, it is very likely that eventually the plating will wear off due to atmospheric conditions, rubbing on the skin and other natural occurrences.
- What is the difference between cubic zirconia and diamonds?
- CZ are lab created, while not as hard as real diamonds, they are relatively durable and resistant to scratches. It can also be treated to exhibit different colors. Because CZ stones are lab created, this eliminates concerns about unethical mining practices. CZ is lightweight, making it an adorable option for jewelry.
- Do you offer custom charm or pendant designs?
- We do not, what you see is what you get on our website.
- Are your products from China? Where do you source from?
- We do our very best to source products that can ship from the US, however it's not always the case. Most of our products are made in China, as with many jewelry companies. We stand behind these products, however, and work closely with our suppliers and manufacturers and select only products that represent our brand.

Ordering & Payment FAQs
- Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?
- We will try our best to cancel your order within 24 hours after you place it, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to. Please reach out to us as soon as possible at hello@loopandcharm.com. Orders are not able to be modified after they are made.
- Will I receive an order confirmation email?
- Absolutely!
- How long will it take to ship and receive my order?
- Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Please expect your package to arrive within 7-14 business days for Economy. For standard, it can be 7-10 business days. We are a very small but mighty team and we do our best to quickly process and fulfill orders as they come in.
- If your order has not been received within this time frame, please contact us at hello@loopandcharm.com and we will look into your order and do what we can to rectify.
- Additionally, if you ordered multiple products, you may receive them in separate batches. This is so as your order is prepared, there is no waiting on any additional processing for other items.
- Do you ship internationally?
- We currently ship to only the USA at this time.
- Do you accept returns or refunds?
- Our very small business is unable to afford to order returns or exchanges at this time. This also helps keep our costs as low as we can go. All sales are final. If there are issues with your items, such as missing, damaged, or incorrect items, please see our return policy and follow the appropriate steps.
- Can I pay for faster shipping? I need my products for an event in less than a week!
- Transparency is key. At this time - We currently don't offer expedited shipping to help keep costs low for you. Our US warehouse is also used by other suppliers, therefore we aren't always able to ship from the US. Expedited shipping can run $35+ and we don't feel that is the best customer experience. This may change if we can find a better solution.
- Please keep in mind when ordering, to give yourself at least two weeks time for your order to be delivered.
- The typical time-frame that customers receive orders are usually 7 days.
- Do you process orders at night or on weekends?
- Actually, we do! Our business hours for customer inquiries are 9am-5pm EST, however, we do process orders after this time and on the weekends. If there is an issue with your order, contact us right away. If we've come across an issue with your order for any reason, it will not be processed on a weekend until you've been contacted.

- Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
- Please subscribe to our mailing list to stay in the loop on discounts and promotions.
- What's up with your prices? I can get charms cheaper in big box stores.
- We get it! However, we've carefully selected charms that are real gold plated, the products you can get in other major retailers don't always have a description of what the metal is on the package, so you end up risking your money on a product you don't know much about at all.
- We also try to make sure that you only pay $1-$3 per charm (or less), so that if you have a charm business or of the like, you can charge per charm appropriately for your bottom line. We don't want to give away too much of the method behind the madness here, so feel free to message or email us for further questions on a pricing method.
